070 Mental resileince 2020 3-4 – How to be antifragile

Do you ever wish you were unbreakable? That when life’s challenges came along – both physical and mental – you could carry on without pain or suffering.

Sounds good, yes?

The problem is, that without struggle, there is no challenge and, without challenge, there is no achievement.

In this podcast, I explain what it means to be anti-fragile – to be able to face every adversity in life and to learn and grow stronger without breaking. From doing a tough workout at the gym, to practicing silent meditation to having that difficult conversation with a life partner, there are only two choices: to do it or to not do it. One is easier in the short term (stay at home, watch the TV, say nothing); the other leads to a better long-term outcome (fitness, focus, improved relationships).

In overcoming obstacles and taking action you will become stronger.
