  1. Caroline Stammers

Another cracking listen really helped re ignite my internal fire which has been dimming out a little lately. Is Elizabeth was here today I think she would say to me…’open your eyes and open your heart and just be the you that you want to be !

  2. Val

    Nice one Pete
As always a great angle and thought provinking

  3. Yvonne

Another inspiring human being. She could so easily have become a victim, a slave to her childhood, instead she flourished and created history. She clearly worked hard through adversity and kept going till she was in a position of power.

    Great inspiration

  4. Elaine Dews

History teaches us so much. Elizabeth 1 was truly a remarkable woman. It’s fascinating to think that two women of the same father turned out so differently. Her sister Mary, Katherine of Aragon’s daughter with Henry VIII, ruled England cruelly putting more Protestants to death than any other monarch. Whilst Elizabeth was tolerant and fair. Nature v nurture?
Another thought provoking podcast from Pete.
By the way Mary Queen of Scots was Elizabeth’s cousin and despite the recent film portrayal they never actually met.
