058 – How to sleep your way to better health

Every great day starts the night before – by getting a good night’s sleep.

If we look back 250 years – before the introduction of the electric light bulb – people typically slept for 10 hours a night. Now, millions of people are getting by on between 5 and 6 hours a night.

Sleep disorders like insomnia, sleep apnoea and narcolepsy are on the rise and, for plenty of others the quality of their sleep is poor.
